Thinking About Outsourcing
Our developers are spending too much time writing documentation instead of working on the actual product. We tried sharing the writing between everyone, but it has not worked very well. I started reading about outsourced technical writing as a possible solution. Has anyone moved their technical writing outside their company? How did you give the writer enough information to understand the product? Did your team save time in the long run? I would really like to hear from someone who has already made this change.
